Day 1: Kampala – Jinja via Sezibwa Falls

You will be picked up from Kampala and begin your journey to Jinja. The first stop is at Sezibwa Falls, where you will enjoy a guided nature walk and learn about the cultural legends associated with this scenic waterfall. From here, you continue to Najjembe for Uganda’s famous grilled chicken and roasted plantain before heading further east.

Upon arrival in Jinja, you will visit the Uganda Railway Museum, a fascinating space that showcases Uganda’s colonial railway history. Later, you will enjoy lunch in Jinja town before checking in at Home on the Nile, a riverside retreat where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Waterfalls & the Mighty Nile

After breakfast at the lodge, you will set out for an exciting day of nature and exploration. The morning will be spent at Busowoko Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls along the Nile, where the rushing waters and fresh sprays create a thrilling atmosphere.

Afterward, you will have lunch in Jinja town before heading out in the afternoon for a memorable boat cruise to the Source of the Nile.
