Day 1: Kampala – Kibale & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Depart Kampala in the morning via the Mityana–Fort Portal highway, passing through picturesque landscapes and lush tea estates. On arrival in Fort Portal, check into your lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This eco-tourism site is rich in birdlife, including the Great Blue Turaco, Papyrus Gonolek, and hornbills, as well as primates such as black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and olive baboons.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Sunset at the Top of the World
After an early breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for chimpanzee trekking. Follow ranger guides through the forest to observe these intelligent primates up close as they feed, groom, and swing through the treetops. Along the way, spot other primates like Ugandan red colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
In the evening, visit the Top of the World viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of crater lakes and rolling hills as the sun sets over western Uganda, a perfect photo opportunity

Day 3: Mubende Stopover – Entanda Cultural Visit – Kampala
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey. Stop in Mubende town for lunch before proceeding to Entanda Cultural Centre. Here, take part in interactive cultural activities such as traditional music, dance, drumming, storytelling, and food preparation. You’ll also learn about Uganda’s heritage and community life in a fun, engaging way.
By late afternoon, we continue to Kampala, arriving in the evening with lasting memories of primates, nature, and culture.
