DAY 01Transfer to Kabale
Set off at 8:00am for your journey to Kabale. Make your first stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos, craft shopping, and a short equator experiment.
Continue to Mbarara for lunch at the famous Igongo Cultural Centre, where you will also enjoy the heritage setting.
Proceed to Kabale with a stop at the Great Lakes Museum before heading to Lake Bunyonyi. On arrival, check into your lakeside hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.
DAY 02Boat cruise, Community visit, Island hopping.
Start the day with a guided boat cruise across Lake Bunyonyi to the Batwa community. Hike up to their settlement for panoramic views of the lake, cultural dances, and storytelling.
After returning for lunch, embark on an afternoon island-hopping experience to explore the history of Lake Bunyonyi’s 29 islands, including Punishment Island with its dramatic past. End the day with a relaxed evening by the lake.
DAY 03Return to Kampala
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Kampala. Enjoy lunch en route and scenic countryside views. Arrive in Kampala in the evening with wonderful memories of your Lake Bunyonyi Getaway.
