Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, our professional English-speaking guide will pick you up and provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming safari. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, passing through picturesque landscapes, bustling towns, and verdant countryside, offering captivating views of the Pearl of Africa. Your journey includes a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will participate in a guided rhino tracking experience. This exciting activity lasts approximately 2–3 hours and offers a rare opportunity to observe rhinos up close in their natural habitat. Following the experience, you will enjoy lunch en route before proceeding to Murchison Falls. Upon arrival in the evening, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise

Your day begins early with a 5:00 AM wake-up call and breakfast. You will then head out for a morning game drive across the northern savannah plains of the park. Keep an eye out for the remaining members of the Big Five lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants as well as various bird species such as the Giant Kingfisher and African Darter. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch or enjoy a packed lunch in a scenic location within the park. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the falls. The cruise provides excellent views of aquatic wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and various water birds. You may also spot elephants and other animals quenching their thirst along the riverbanks. As the boat nears the base of the falls, marvel at the dramatic scene where the Nile forces itself through a 7-meter gorge, creating a thunderous cascade and unforgettable memories. Optionally, you may enjoy an evening game drive before returning to the lodge.

Day 3: Top of the Falls Experience & Return to Kampala

Following an early breakfast, proceed to the Top of the Falls for a short guided hike. From the summit, witness the majestic spectacle of the Nile squeezing through a narrow rocky cleft and plunging into the abyss an awe-inspiring display of nature's power and beauty. After this memorable experience, begin your return journey to Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. Drop-off will be at your hotel or preferred location.
