Arrival/Departure: Entebbe International Airport or your hotel (prior to Day 1).


Overview: This 7-day safari offers an immersive experience through Uganda’s most iconic national parks. From the lush Kibale Forest to the wildlife-rich plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the majestic mountain gorillas of Bwindi, and the serene beauty of Lake Mburo, this journey combines adventure, nature, and cultural encounters.


Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park


You will be met by your assigned English-speaking driver-guide either at the hotel or upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. From there, you will embark on a scenic transfer to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival at the lodge, check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Bigodi Wetlands Excursion & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Following an early breakfast, you will proceed to the Bigodi Wetlands for a guided excursion. This wetland is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including several primate species such as the black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and baboons. Bird enthusiasts will delight in sightings of species like the Great Blue Turaco.

After the excursion, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, have lunch and some rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Expect to encounter a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, kob, warthogs, reedbuck, and bushbuck. Alternatively, opt for a scenic drive around the park’s breathtaking explosion craters.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise


After breakfast, depart for chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura Gorge. The gorge is home to habituated chimpanzees, as well as other primates and numerous bird species. The morning will be spent in search of these fascinating primates.

Return to the lodge for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George and Lake Edward. The cruise offers spectacular views of hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a multitude of waterbirds. A brief game drive may follow before returning to the lodge.

Day 4: Sunrise Game Drive – Kasenyi Plains, Ishasha Sector & Transfer to Bwindi


Rise early for a morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains. Keep watch for elephants, lions, Cape buffaloes, and the elusive leopard. After the drive, return to the lodge for checkout and proceed to the Ishasha Sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions—an iconic and rare sighting.

From Ishasha, continue your journey to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the early evening.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Afternoon Leisure


After an early breakfast, proceed to the ranger station for a pre-trek briefing on the gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by a professional ranger-guide, you will venture into the dense Bwindi Forest. The forest is exceptionally scenic with a dramatic landscape of steep hills, thick vegetation, and numerous animal trails.

The trekking duration varies depending on the gorilla group’s movements. Once a group is located, you will spend a full hour observing them in their natural habitat—an unforgettable experience. After the trek, return to the lodge to rest.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon Game Drive


Following breakfast, begin your transfer to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara city. Upon arrival, check into the lodge and relax before heading out for an afternoon-to-evening game drive. Expect sightings of eland antelope, zebras, topi, impalas, Uganda kob, and Cape buffaloes.


Optional Activity (at extra cost): A night game drive to observe nocturnal wildlife species not typically seen during the day.

Day 7: Morning Walking Safari & Return to Entebbe

Enjoy an early morning guided bush walk in the company of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger. This walking safari offers close encounters with wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, topi, eland, and buffaloes. You’ll ascend a hill with panoramic views of Lake Mburo and the surrounding lakes—up to nine of the twelve in the region can be seen from this vantage point.

After the walk, return to the lodge for checkout and begin your journey back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight.
