A little closer to extraordinary.

Three days among Kibale’s chimpanzees, forest trails and the birdlife of Bigodi’s wetlands.

Located in western Uganda near Fort Portal, Kibale National Park is world-famous for its chimpanzee tracking experiences. The park is home to 13 primate species, the highest concentration in East Africa, including red colobus, black-and-white colobus, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and olive baboons.

The lush rainforest is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 375 species recorded, including the rare green-breasted pitta. Visitors can also explore the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project that complements the primate experience with birds and cultural encounters.
